Delay or disorder in motor development casts a shadow on not only physical aspects but mental ones across one's life from infancy through adulthood.  For realizing effective coaching for gross motor development, we have developed a supporting system that exploits computer-assisted video analysis.  An experimental result using the system that we conducted in a public institution for mentally retarded children is reported.
